What an amazing year we have had here at Sportzdating! We’ve come so far since our initial plan to match-make our sporty friends.

We are thrilled to have made many successful matches this year including Runchick and Pantini, who lived less than 2km apart but needed the convenience and security of Sportzdating to find each other. Well done Jane and Pete who are starting off the year by moving in together and let’s not forget Chickabee and her Mr Nealio who are busy trying to convert all their single friends to the joys of Sportzdating. Our Sportzdating events over the past year have been a huge success. We began with our Fergs Kayaks paddling event, followed by drinks, nibbles and a good deal of fun. This event garnered great media coverage from the team at TV3 Sports Tonight. Click here if you missed seeing it. Our mid-winter event was Orienteering in the Hunua Ranges, where happily no one got lost and everyone had a great time. Not to mention all the informal gatherings attended by Sportzdaters as well!

The website continues to grow and we have added regular features to the Sportzdating website such as Dr Sportzdate, offering relationship and lifestyle advice. Dr Sportzdate has also been extended to include teleconference seminars. We have also recently added Stargaze to the website for inspiration and guidance.

Congratulations to all our prize winners over the past year, winning Fergs Kayak trips, iPod Nanos, WILD-SIDE holidays and Sportzdating upgrades. We look forward to giving away more exciting prizes in 2008! We are currently running a “Singles Amnesty” where you can hand over your singles and go into the draw to win a WILD-SIDE adventure weekend!
