Preparation tips for dating

Dating experts offer some fresh ideas on preparing for that first exciting date. Using some, but not all of your preparation time in front of the mirror, and also focussing on conversation topics and things of interest to your date.

To avoid the embarrassment of un-comfortable silences when you are dating, its a great idea to have some back up conversation pre-planned to keep things running smoothly…..… Research some of your dates likes and dis-likes which is also handy for conversation topics.

Older women find partners online

Women 40 years and older can thank the internet for dramatically raising their chances of finding at least one new lover within a year, which is in stark contrast to their limited success in more traditional forms of dating, compared to younger women.

Dr Bateson said there was no data on how previous generations of middle-aged women had fared in the quest for love and sex. But she suspected the internet had made a genuine difference, as they were no longer dependent on venues aimed at young people.

Teri Hatcher works up a sweat as she trains for charity triathlon...but the lipstick stays firmly in place.

Great news for all sporty women out there in the dating world........Teri Hatcher can be our latest inspiration for getting out there and going hard in a gorgeously girly way. If we fancy doing it Teri Hatcher style, it looks like the only extra effort involved in our training is a touch of lipstick and a dazzle of jewellery. Sounds pretty easy to me, with perhaps the added bonus of distracting the lads long enough for us to sneak past them, or score a coffee date after the event.

When she emerged from the Pacific Ocean after finishing a full practice run, Teri high fived her swimming coach Nabil Kazi. But keeping just a bit of glamour amid her sporty attire, Teri was wearing jewellery and a touch of lipstick that stayed firmly in place through all her endeavours.
